Only Batman Can breathe in space!

I always find it incredible in science fiction stories where people board some kind of derelict and broken spacecraft/station, and never seem to wanna bring space suits along. You'd think that'd be a nessecity, since there's no garuntee of there being an internal breathable atmosphere everywhere, or whether the structure sturdy enough to protect you from explosive decompression. You also preclude being able to escape to the rescue boat by jumping out (or making) an airlock.

Fortunately, Rei and Akira are a bit more prepared than the average spacer. Though I guess it's still a mystery why she decided to gag someone like Rei in space (where nobody can hear you scream) of all places.
